Belinda’s goal is to provide the very best in leadership coaching and development to enable leaders to grow and realize their capabilities. She wants to support and nurture you on your leadership journey.

Here is a short list of her services.
Meet with Belinda one-on-one over several months to explore yourself and identify ways to help you to make sustainable change. As you discover yourself, you will work together to create plans that build on your existing strengths, uncover unexpected opportunities, and build sustainable solutions. Belinda will hold you accountable for discovery and implementation of new ways to build your leadership style and capabilities. She will challenge you to learn about leadership through directed reading, experience and discussion – and help you implement the changes you desire to be the leader you want to be.
Connect with Belinda to create and implement the training and developmental experiences that will best strengthen your leadership skills. She designs and deliver programs and workshops designed for you – to grow the leadership skills and behaviors you wish to strengthen. Some potential topics are: Using Language to Communicate More Effectively; Building Trust; Leading People with Differences; and others customized to meet your needs and those of your team.
Supporting Women Leaders
Belinda delights in working with women to develop them as leaders. She works with women to explore some of the unique challenges they face, including assertiveness, self-regard, work-life balance, building on strengths, dealing with difficult people, managing both up and across the organization, and creating and implementing effective strategic plans. She helps women build the self-confidence they need to raise their ideas and get them implemented often in environments where they are the only woman on the team. She has mentored women leaders during her career at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and through the mentorship program of Women in Technology.
Supporting Leaders in Transition
Belinda knows well what transition is like and is poised to help leaders negotiate the transitions they face. Many leaders in science and technology start as expert researchers and need to learn new and different skills to succeed as managers and leaders in science and technology and other fields. Toward the end of a successful career a leader will begin to think about post-career opportunities, including an encore career. Belinda has worked successfully with such clients helping them build new possibilities that leverage existing skills and talents but take them in a new direction.
Any journey requires preparation and assessments are an important element of a coach’s backpack. They help both client and coach learn more about the client – from personality type to emotional intelligence to motives and values that underpin communication and leadership styles. Learn from widely used assessment instruments such as Leadership Circle, DiSC, Myers Briggs Type Indicator ®, FIRO-B ®, SDI® or EQi-2.0 ® to provide you with critical insights and awareness about you and your leadership style. Use and integrate these assessments with one-on-one coaching, leadership development, or training to provide you with new ways of thinking about and executing your leadership style, approach and performance.
